Spectators all who read this stone reflect how soon she was cut down just nineteen years and five months liv'd a single life and just six weeks I was a wedded wife but cruel death would not be deny'd but broke those bands of love so lately ty'd my glass was run I could no longer stay my great redeemer call'd me hence away reader be careful how you live death did to me short warning give repent in time make no delay lest you like me be called away.

CRESSWELL - In memory of John Cresswell who died Feby 6th 1841 aged 70 also of Sarah Cresswell wife of the above who died June 10th 1854 aged 77 years.
